Software Engineer (Go)

Engineer Software Backend Frontend Full Stack Developer Programmer Coder

Oxylabs · Lithuania · Vilnius/Kaunas · posted — · engineering

We’re a team of 500+ professionals who develop cutting-edge proxy and web data scraping solutions for thousands of the world’s best known businesses, including Fortune 500 companies.

What’s in store for you:

You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

  • 6PB+ Ceph storage

  • 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems

  • 300k+ service requests/sec processed

  • 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

Join us at a stage where your work actually moves the needle. The product is still young, the customer base is growing fast, and there’s a lot of space to shape both the tech and the product itself. You won’t be just closing tickets – you’ll be helping to decide what we build, how we build it, and how it scales.

You’ll work with a modern stack (Go, Kubernetes, MySQL, Kafka, Redis, monitoring, headless browsers) and real-world problems around scraping, browser automation, stealth techniques and AI agents. If you like digging deep into how things actually work – from infrastructure to browser internals – you’ll feel at home.

It’s a small, hands-on team where ownership is real: you can talk directly to customers, ship features end-to-end, and see your impact quickly. The flip side: the product is growing and changing, so we’re looking for someone who’s flexible, curious, and wants to grow together with it – not someone who needs a fixed roadmap and golden processes. If you enjoy building, experimenting and improving both the product and yourself, this is a good place to do it.

Your day-to-day:

  • Develop systems and solutions that can scale easily as the product and customer base grows.
  • Own the full development cycle – from research and prototyping to deployment and production.
  • Deliver and review technical design, code, and documentation.
  • Take part in technical decision-making in an early-stage, fast‑growing product.
  • Work directly with customers when needed: help investigate and solve their issues, and bring ideas back to the team.
  • Look for and suggest product improvements based on real customer problems and your own insights.
  • Actively contribute to growing and shaping the product from a fairly early stage – understand the product, its problems and opportunities, not just the technical side.

Your skills & experience:

  • Solid hands-on experience with Go.
  • Production experience with Kubernetes – you should understand how to deploy and maintain services.
  • A good grasp of the underlying infrastructure, not just how to write application code.
  • A genuine desire to work with an early-stage, growing product and take ownership beyond just coding tasks.
  • Flexibility – you are comfortable with the fact that in a fast-growing product, priorities and direction can change quickly.
  • Good communication and a collaborative mindset for a small, hybrid team.
    NICE TO HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience with headless browsers (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer) and web scraping/automation.
  • A deep understanding of the scraping niche, including stealth techniques and advanced headless browser principles.
  • Familiarity with AI agents and ideas on how they could leverage headless browsers.
  • Practical experience with our stack: MySQL, Kafka, Redis, Grafana, Sentry, ELK.

Our Salary & Work Benefits Package:

  • Gross salary: 5000 - 7000 EUR/month. This position provides a fixed base only. Keep in mind that we are open to discuss a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
  • To support your professional growth and make you feel taken care of, we’ve put together an expansive benefit package. It covers learning, well-being, celebration, and much more  — learn all about it here.
