Where you come in:

As our Account Manager, you'll be at the sharp end of the quantum industry, continuously identifying new sales opportunities and forging long-lasting relationships primarily with academic customers (universities and research centers). We're looking for someone with a proactive, results-driven mindset, eager to explore and expand our market presence in a rapidly evolving field. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future of technology by empowering world-class research with Qblox's cutting-edge control stack. This role will involve lots of travel and could be remote based.

What you'll do:

  • Discover & Nurture: Continuously identify and pursue new sales opportunities, building strong, lasting relationships with both prospective and existing academic customers.
  • Own the Cycle: Manage the entire sales journey, from initial proactive outreach and lead generation through deal closure and fostering repeat partnerships.
  • Translate & Empower: Be the bridge, deeply understanding customer needs in the academic sector and translating how Qblox's value proposition and products can solve their unique challenges.
  • Collaborate & Inform: Act as the vital link between our customers and our internal experts—including application scientists, product managers, and marketing—ensuring seamless transitions and informed solutions.
  • Strategise & Achieve: Develop precise business plans to hit and exceed ambitious annual sales targets, directly fueling Qblox's rapid growth.
  • Optimise & Share: Drive best practices and share your knowledge across the broader sales team, ensuring our approach is scalable and sustainable.
