Electrician
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Electrician to join our team. This person will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, takes pride in high-quality work, and can work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, outlets, panels, and control systems

Inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switchgear

Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely manner

Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics

Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate tools and equipment

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site

Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and customers regarding work progress and needs

Support new construction, remodels, service calls, and preventative maintenance as assigned
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid electrician license, certification, or apprenticeship status based on local requirements

2+ years of electrical experience preferred

Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices

Ability to read blueprints and technical documents

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Comfortable working on ladders, in tight spaces, and in varying weather or job site conditions
Preferred Skills

Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work

Familiarity with generators, low-voltage systems, or HVAC-related electrical systems
